In the 1980s he organised Polish-German cooperation in the field of photography in Szczecin. Author of many solo exhibitions. He has exhibited his works in Germany, Poland, Belgium, England, Portugal, Brazil, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, USA, Romania, Austria, Canada. Many times awarded and honoured for achievements in photography. Honorary member of the Union of Polish Nature Photographers, the Szczecin Photographic Society and a member of the Union of Polish Artists Photographers. He served as president of the Szczecin Photographic Society. He has published many maritime books and photo albums.
