Currently a helmsman and captain of Pogoń Yacht Racing.

Commander of Stettiner Yacht-Club e.V., Corporation. A sailor with family traditions traceable back to the 1960s and the owner of a sport yacht (41 feet), who sails the Baltic Sea around Scandinavia and the other Baltic states. Stettiner Yacht-Club e. V. from Lübeck continues the activities undertaken by 26 people passionate about water sports: sailors and rowers, who in 1877 in the harbour city of Szczecin established an association called “Verein Stettiner Segler” [Association of Szczecin Sailors], which several years later became “Stettiner Yacht Club” [Szczecin Yacht Club]. Since 1948 the seat of the club has been in Lübeck. A detailed presentation of StYC and its history in a Polish language version can be found in the unique “Leksykon żeglarstwa i sportów wodnych Pomorza Zachodniego” [Glossary of sailing and water sports of West Pomerania].

He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Maritime University in Szczecin, where he later taught classes and developed his scientific career. He completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Transport and Communication in 1987/88 and has travelled around the world on board Dar Młodzieży (Gift of the Youth). Member of the Cape Horn Society. Between 2014 and 2016, he was the President of the Centrum Żeglarskie Sailing Club.

He served as president of the Szczecin Photographic Society. He has published many maritime books and photo albums.

The originator of Aleja Żeglarzy (Sailors Avenue) in Szczecin, the Szczecin Sailing Awards and many initiatives popularising sailing in Szczecin and West Pomerania. Grandson of Captain Kazimierz Haska, the pioneer of sailing and museology in Szczecin. Involved in sailing since 1974. Organiser of training voyages and sailing and canoeing trips for young people including: Expedition Iceland 2009 and Expedition Narwik 2015, during which the students from West Pomerania travelled beyond the polar circle, the Arctic.

An Honorary Ambassador of Szczecin. He comes from the famous Krzeptowski family from Zakopane. He has sailed on fishing and research vessels, conducted research on the shelf of West Africa, and was the head of the research team on board the MT “Tazar” in the first Polish Antarctic Marine Expedition (1975-76).
